About me

Hi! I'm Mel Szeto, I’m a tattoo artist, designer and illustrator based in London.

I work at my own shop Gilt Moth Tattoo in Greenwich, I have 10+ years experience as a tattoo artist, I specialise in realistic and semi-realistic style, portraits, and custom design work. Black & grey is my favourite for tattoos as in my opinion it ages better and looks good for much longer than colour tattoos, but I'm happy to add a hint of colour! 

I often work on other projects like art prints, paintings and freelance illustrations, it's a place where I can express myself and tell my own story through my art. As a tattooist I love helping my clients bring their ideas to life but I love the complete creative freedom I have when I work on my own original pieces.
